Oaktree Academy’s Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
We are excited to announce that Oaktree Academy’s 6th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament will be on May 1st, 2019 at Greenbrier Country Club! With everyone doing a small part this fundraiser can have a huge impact for our school. Our goal to raise $5,000 this year will once again go towards helping students in need attend Oaktree Academy. Thank you for being a part of this great event! EVERYONE can help. Here are the ways you can make this a successful event for the school:
- We need golfers. Golfers don’t have to be good. In the “scramble” format everyone hits a shot and the team picks which shot is the “best ball”, then everyone hits their second shot from the best spot! Recruit everyone you know who owns a set of golf clubs and tell them they need to play in our tournament. Spread the word for us among friends, family, and co-workers. You can help us share our event on social media too. Golfers can register below via Payal or pay in the school office.
- We need corporate sponsors. Much of the success in fundraising from a golf tournament is through corporate sponsor support. Oaktree Academy is a Non-Profit Organization (501C3) and all of the sponsorships are tax-deductible. Oaktree Academy’s EIN number is 06-1651988. This is a great way for businesses to advertise too. If you know business owners or have a connection with a corporation, please consider sharing this opportunity with them. Sponsors can donate via Paypal below or donate in the school office.
- We need donations of any kind from businesses. Golfers love prizes and we need donations for our raffle that will be held at the golf tournament. While you are out and about, please consider asking places of business if they would like to donate an item or service for this event. Gift certificates from restaurants, massage places, movie theaters, other golf courses, etc. Their donations are tax deductible too. You can bring these items to the school office at any time.
