Our School Model

We are a fully accredited 5-day private Christian school that operates in a "family-like" atmosphere.

K4-5TH GRADE

As part of our philosophy of education, we value the importance of families spending both quality and quantity time together. Students are taught from a Biblical worldview in a creative classroom in their four core subjects of language arts, math, science and social studies. In addition, students rotate through electives that round out a quality program. Based on current research on effective learning for this age, limited homework is assigned in these grade levels. Most evenings and all weekends are free to be family time and to allow your children to explore other interests.

6TH-12TH GRADE

As our students enter middle school and high school, OakTree desires to instill within them a lifestyle of learning and to provide a schedule of options to allow each student to learn and grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Students in these grades meet with our guidance counselor and can choose up to seven classes for their full-time tuition. These classes are also taught from a Biblical worldview. In addition, OakTree offers our senior students a strong dual enrollment program to help advanced students complete college coursework while they are still in high school, along with a large number of on-line classes.  Homework assigned should take 1.5-2 hours Mon-Thurs, with no daily homework assigned on Fridays to allow weekends for family time and other interests.
