Special Projects
This year we are starting 3 projects that will make a visible difference on our campus for our families and students. These projects are NOT in the normal scope of our budget. We are asking families to help donate or think of businesses that can donate to help make these projects become a reality!
OakTree Academy is a Non-Profit Organization organized as a limited liability company (LLC) under High Touch Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization, and all of the donations are tax-deductible. OakTree Academy’s EIN number is 06-1651988.
The 3 projects are:
1. A PLAYGROUND for our K4-5th Grade students. Total needed: $69,096. OakTree Academy has entered into a contract with Cunningham Recreation to build a playground for our kids! The school put down a deposit and signed the contract on 08/19. The deposit and costs of the playground are NOT in the regular budget. We are moving forward in faith and trusting that businesses and families will donate to this project. The project will be completed within the next 8 weeks.
2. An AMERICAN FLAG in front of our property. Total needed: $15,435. Cardinal Sign will furnish and install a 50ft EC50 external Halyard flagpole. The pole is a high-strength 6063-T6 aluminum alloy, offering commercial-grade durability and weather resistance. The American Flag will be 10' x 15'. The school will not sign a contract until the money is raised.
3. SCHOOL ZONE. Total Needed: $83,450.00. OakTree Academy has been approved to put a school zone on Volvo Pkwy. There will be 4 beacons. This will make the traffic coming and going in front of the school safer, as vehicles will be traveling only at 25 mph during drop-off and pick-up times instead of the current 45 mph+. The school will not sign a contract until the money is raised.
